Women are in some kind of transition for most of their careers.
Whether its transition to or from maternity leave, transition to executive leadership, transition to business ownership or transition to board roles.
The vision for #WWGI is for women to have access to advice, mentors, sponsors during these transitions. I also want women to have safe spaces & places to extend their strategic network & have some fun!
WWGI is all about action and creating positive outcomes for women.
That’s why a powerhouse line up of female businesswomen, entrepreneurs & Board Directors have been assembled for the next #WWGI event for women.
These businesswomen, entrepreneurs & Board Directors are going to facilitate several rounds of speed coaching circles, then all join WWGI founder, Michelle Redfern, on stage for QANDA, #WWGI style!
All your questions about your own transitions past, present and future will be answered.

Christie Downs is a former corporate executive who has spent her time in the construction industry and sporting sector.
Today Christie is her own boss, spending all of her working hours dedicated to solving an industry problem she knows so well by, yep you guessed it, venturing out to build a tech platform startup.
Christie says ‘The challenge to get here today was not so much in coming up with the idea, creating the solution, the product, it was more in taking the leap from corporate and all that I had known and built.”
Christie had worked hard to establish a personal brand, having led the extraordinary sales growth of a construction company from $12million to $350million. She was able to generate this sort of growth because she was a respected, innovative leader in the industry among both insurance clients and construction peers. Christie held a board position and equity at group level, so the associated status and security in all that she had built made it difficult to leave. But, she felt stuck in the corporate race, chasing other people’s dreams, making other people mountains of money and she knew that navigating politics was not her forever.
When Christie took the leap out of corporate and into the entrepreneurial world, her greatest challenge was surprise. It was not what job next or what business to create. Christie discovered that so much of her personal identity, her value and worth was entwined with upholding and exceling at that job. The journey of transition is never what you expect, the leap is a little terrifying and a hell of a lot exciting.
