Women are in some kind of transition for most of their careers.

Whether its transition to or from maternity leave, transition to executive leadership, transition to business ownership or transition to board roles.

The vision for #WWGI is for women to have access to advice, mentors, sponsors during these transitions. I also want women to have safe spaces & places to extend their strategic network & have some fun!

WWGI is all about action and creating positive outcomes for women.

That’s why a powerhouse line up of female businesswomen, entrepreneurs & Board Directors have been assembled for the next #WWGI event for women.

These businesswomen, entrepreneurs & Board Directors are going to facilitate several rounds of speed coaching circles, then all join WWGI founder, Michelle Redfern, on stage for QANDA, #WWGI style!

All your questions about your own transitions past, present and future will be answered.

Coaching Circle #2 is “How do I build my executive career? and will be facilitated by Shanyn Payne and Claire Seeber, both Executive HR Women.

IMG_0777Shanyn’s HR career started at the cash register of her local supermarket.

Today, she’s Executive Director, Human Resources at Online Education Services, an Australian business that has been recognized as an Aon Hewitt Best Employer for the last four years running and maned ‘Best of the Best’ for 2017⠀
Shanyn has learned about creating loyal employees, building a people-first organization from scratch and not resting on your laurels, particularly when it comes to pay equality.⠀

Shanyn is a people first leader and coach. She says “Seeing the positive in people first means that you can uncover so much gold. You can end up finding brilliance in people; finding talent that may have been overlooked elsewhere.”⠀

fullsizeoutput_c222Claire Seeber, HR Exec & Founder of @eatingyourcaketoo is your other coach for Circle #2 “building my executive career path”⠀

Claire got into HR to put the human factor back into it, and as the Head of HR for Brand Collective, a national retail, wholesale and online footwear and apparel business, Claire has most definitely been able to achieve that. ⠀

Working with driven individuals and matching them with fulfilling opportunities is what Claire loves the most. Setting the people and culture strategy and continuing to look at ways in which Brand Collective can attract, recruit and retain innovative, entrepreneurially spirited individuals is at the core of what Claire and her team do.⠀

Since joining in 2014, Claire has played a critical role in the transition of Brand Collective to be its own standalone business, having previously been part of the Pacific Brands empire. This period saw Claire build the entire HR infrastructure from the ground up. Claire continues to play a key role on the leadership team by being a thought leader on people and cultural topics to help solve organisational challenges, through people-related solutions. ⠀

Claire also has a side hustle called Eating your Cake too – a business helping young, professional women get the f*ck out of their own ways, and achieve their personal and professional goals! ⠀

Eating your Cake Too was born out of the fundamental belief Claire holds that life shouldn’t be a trade off, and that as women we CAN, and SHOULD have our cake and eat it too!⠀ ⠀
